TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE BINDING ON YOU. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THEM CAREFULLY AND THAT YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THEM BEFORE ENTERING IN INTO THIS AGREEMENT

1. General
• Contracts are made and accepted subject to these Conditions of Sale
• Contracts that are made in Scotland shall be governed by Scottish Law otherwise this contract shall be governed by English Law and no other.

2. Quotations
• All prices stated include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise
• Firm price quotations are valid for a period of 28 calendar days after which time they may be subject to alteration.
• Where quotations are based on details provided by the Customer, such quotations are subject to the accuracy of those measurements and/or information.

3. Copyright AND Trademarks
Any plan drawn by DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK is, and remains, its property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without its previous written consent.

4. Conditions and Warranties
• Natural products may show some colour variations
• Where DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.
• All the items are new stock items which would hold a full UK manufacturers Guarantee.

5. Delivery
Delivery Charges for products are automatically added to the final value to be paid by the customer based on the cost of sending that particular item, and these are built into a calculation on the website.
We aim to ship orders with in the time scale shown next to all the products listed on the website.

Please note these are aims and we are unable to guarantee this as a fixed time scale

Items that are special orders would have a time scale advised by email or phone.
All goods are delivered (Where Applicable) at ground floor only.
 
We advise against booking trades for installations until the goods have been received. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.

Please inspect goods thoroughly before signing. It is not possible to sign the proof of delivery note as "Unchecked". You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery if goods are damaged or missing.

We do request for proof of damage by email with pictures of the damaged item. If this should be the case, we require the information within 7 working days. Any delay in providing this information, can cause inconveniences, or can even mean non-replacements.

The delivery charges applied on this site are for delivery to anywhere on main land UK and are calculated on the basis of delivery location

6. Deliveries Outside the UK
Please note we are unable to ship out of United Kingdom for orders placed via the website, and delivery charges on the website are only for mainland UK. Customers outside these areas please contact us BEFORE ordering, and we can provide you with a quotation for delivery for the Rest of  the World. If you are concerned about delivery costs then please email us at info@designerbathroomsuk.com

7. Shortages
It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 24hours from delivery.

8. Damage in transit
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 24 hours from delivery.

9. Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time due to manufacturers or suppliers product discontinuations. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods

10. Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

11. Cancellation of Goods
All products sold on this site are subject to the distance selling regulations. You can cancel your order at anytime after placing the order and up to 7 days after receiving the goods. (The 7 working day cancellation period starts the "day after" the day that the goods are received.) It is your responsibility to return purchases in pristine condition in its original box and packaging. For full details of how to return please contact or Email us. You will be wholly responsible for the cost of return delivery and safe return of the goods. Goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition will be returned to you and the cost of return delivery charged to you. If you do not return goods within 2 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, we reserve the right to assume you have changed your mind and are keeping the goods.

12. Items lost in transit
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded / Special Delivery. This does not affect you statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Faulty Goods
Faulty goods must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt. Please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. Do not remove any fitted items that are deemed faulty until you have contacted DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK.

In many cases the manufacturers provide an after sales team of engineers who will come out and fix any problems that you may have with their products. If such a service exists we will provide you with the telephone number of the manufacturer's after sales team 0845-6522279 and to speed up the process you can make the necessary arrangements directly with them. In the event that you are not satisfied with the service they provide then please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve any problems for you.

14. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 30 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) to DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. Please note that item(s) that are returned to us that are not due to our error will have the shipping costs deducted from the refund.

Please note, in all instances DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses.

15. Risk and Liability

As soon as DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK has delivered the goods, the Customer, will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

16. Ownership of the Goods
Ownership of the goods shall remain with DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK, have been paid in full.

17. Consents
The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary planning permission and local/authority consents and permissions for any work to be carried out. In carrying out any work DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK will assume that the necessary consents and permissions have been obtained and accepts no responsibility whatsoever in the event that they have not.

18. Credit & Debit Card Payments
All card payments (with the exception of Time, Amex and those by Customers receiving a VAT invoice) are processed for you by Live In Style (UK) Ltd.

19. Typographical Errors:
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty or delivery changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price.

20. GUARANTEE
We guarantee your satisfaction. IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY CAUSE FOR COMPLAINT, THEN PLEASE CONTACT US STRAIGHT AWAY on info@designerbathroomsuk.com or telephone 0845-6522279
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days, and will try to resolve the problem immediately or in any case within 5 working days. You will always be kept informed of the progress of your complaint
Your Statutory Rights are not affected

21. PRIVACY POLICY
DESIGNERBATHROOMSUK do not disclose any customer information to third parties. Only information collected during the placement of an order is held by us and is solely to enable us to fulfil that order, and is collected by ourselves only, not third parties, and we do not use that information to send out marketing material.
